Elizabeth comes to us with a background in higher education where she teaches literature, film, writing, and non-profit service-learning courses. She is a Ph.D. Candidate in the English department at Wayne State University where she studies the intersections of gender, race, class, and sexuality in contemporary film and media. Elizabeth has been writing and researching grants for multiple nonprofits for several years. She also fosters dogs for a local Detroit dog rescue.
